The SCW-63V3 License Plate recognition and capture camera is a special camera designed to capture license plates in the day as well as at night in very poor lighting conditions. This camera is a very low light (10 times more sensitive then our SCW-CC35 NV Professional Low Light Color camera)

In addition to the cameras extremely low light capabilities the camera has tremendous bright light filtering capabilities. This camera camera can look directly into on coming head lights and still capture a clear night time image of a license plate. This camera utilizes many controls and adjustments which are easily controlled through its 'On screen display'

If you need an extremely low light camera or License plate capture camera at extremely low price you have found it!

SCW-63V3 camera has very extensive features. The variable adjustable back light blanking can handle very bright ranges of light, Example: looking at headlights against black surfaces the camera can still provide recognition of people.

All adjustments can be made over an on screen display or by a PC over a serial connection (RS232). The SCW-63V3 camera is a High Tech camera with the newest DSP technology. Employment a 100MIPS (100 million instructions per second.)

Technical data reached so far were inconceivable. More than 52dB signal to noise ratio guarantee a clear, artifacts-free picture, even with poor lighting conditions. Color distortions are effectively prevented by the fast white alignment in 6ms during the regulation. A range from 2200 - 15000В°K candle light provides bright daylight for natural color reproduction. In the Slow Scan mode exposure times of 2,5 sec. are possible. Thus the luminous sensitivity is substantially increased. The camera can ignore a high density of light in the Slow Scan mode.
